About me

I'm a Brazilian Astrophysicist trying to get to know the universe while travelling across the Earth. I feel very lucky that my work has simultaneously enabled me to study some of the most fascinating creations in the universe while getting to do what I love most which is travelling and getting to know new places.

I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and currently pursuing a PhD at Swinburne University in Australia. As part of my studies, I am undertaking a one-year studentship at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Germany.

I am an observational astrophysicist with a deep interest in galaxy formation and evolution and a background in multiwavelength imaging and spectroscopy. My research to date focuses on the formation histories of dwarf and lenticular galaxies, with a particular focus on ultra-diffuse galaxies (UDGs), using globular clusters (GCs) as dynamical tracers of galaxies and groups, and the usage of multiband imaging to expand our understanding of the stellar content and morphology of galaxies across environments and cosmic times.
